Tener un grupo musical es una tarea bastante complicada, porque muchas veces cuesta conseguir lugares para ensayar, tocar y hasta grabar un disco. ¿Ese es el caso de ustedes? Entonces seguramente les interesará participar de Proyecto Demo 2011, un concurso que lanzó Estudio Urbano, el organismo del Gobierno porteño que fomenta la producción de música.
Durante todo febrero estará abierta la convocatoria a bandas y solistas, entre los cuales 30 participantes serán premiados con la grabación de dos temas, la posibilidad de presentarse en distintos ciclos de recitales o Radio de la Ciudad, y difundir sus canciones por Estudio Urbano Radio.
Además, dos o tres bandas serán elegidas para grabar una producción completa, mientras que otras podrán crear un videoclip, diseñar el arte de tapa de un disco, hacer una sesión de fotos y preparar carpetas de prensa, páginas web o materiales de presentación en video, gracias a distintos talleres.
¿Cómo pueden participar? En primer lugar, deberán preparar una o dos canciones en formato MP3 (no importa la calidad técnica) para luego enviarlas, junto con el formulario de inscripción, al correo electrónico proyectodemo@buenosaires.gob.ar o proyectodemo.eu@gmail.com (con uno de los dos es suficiente).
Cuando terminen ese paso, tendrán que esperar hasta marzo, donde se harán entrevistas con los preseleccionados. A fines de ese mes, serán anunciados los ganadores que grabarán el demo. Durante la segunda mitad del año, se seleccionará a los que tendrán su CD completo.
Así que ya saben: si llevan la música en la sangre y les gustaría darse a conocer, acá tienen una oportunidad más que interesante para conseguir el empujón que necesitan. ¡Mucha suerte!
