Ya falta poco para la Navidad y en Eterna Buenos Aires les venimos contando dónde pueden comprar los regalos, hacer donaciones y hasta les recomendamos una serie de lugares para la cena navideña. Ahora, nos vamos a concentrar en las actividades culturales, porque los museos porteños tienen preparadas varias propuestas relacionadas con las fiestas.
Como hace ya 15 años, el Museo de Esculturas Luis Perlotti convocó a todos los artistas mayores de 17 años para que participaran de su tradicional Certamen de Pesebres Escultóricos. Con la idea de mantener la costumbre del pesebre, se los invitó a representar creativamente el nacimiento del Niño Dios y, ahora, se están exhibiendo los ganadores en Pujol 644.
El Museo de Arte Hispanoamericano Isaac Fernández Blanco también se dedicó a los pesebres, pero exhibiendo la obra de la escultora y caricaturista María Isabel Fotheringham de Castellano. La imagen, que está hecha con cerámica modelada y policromada, guarda relación con su historia familiar y el ámbito rural de nuestra Argentina. Se expone en Suipacha 1422.
En el caso del Museo de Arte Popular José Hernández, la propuesta es un Encuentro de Iconografía Argentina. ¿De qué se trata? Es una exposición para recorrer las distintas imágenes que forman parte de la tradición de la Iglesia, curada por la iconógrafa Magdalena Acuña de Armano. La exposición se hace en la sede de avenida del Libertador 2373.
Y para los chicos, hay una obra de teatro sobre la historia de Papá Noel, que se llama Un regalo muy especial y está a cargo del grupo teatral Museo Viajero. Las funciones se hacen hasta fin de año, todos los domingos a las 17 en el Museo Histórico de Buenos Aires Cornelio Saavedra, que queda en Crisólogo Larralde 6309, con entradas de 25 pesos.
Salvo en la última propuesta, la entrada general es de un peso. Tengan en cuenta que, por los asuetos que dispuso el Gobierno porteño, los museos estarán abiertos este viernes sólo hasta las 13, mientras que el viernes 30 y los domingos 25 y 1ero, no abrirán sus puertas.
